We are offering short term support

There is no “normal” response to the current COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. Many are feeling anxious, panicked, and stressed. Some are noticing an increase in mental health symptoms that existed prior to the outbreak. If you are feeling an increased need for support, but don’t want to meet in person, Holistic Healing Pdx is here for you.


At this time, we are offering phone and telehealth sessions for a discounted rate to manage your distress around the current health crisis.

Q: How is this service different than regular counseling?

A: Many people are choosing to self-quarantine or limit their social contact for health safety reasons. While this might be a time of increased stress and anxiety, it might be more difficult than ever to connect to mental health care. 


This service is designed for people who are:


1) Experiencing increased mental health symptoms related to COVID-19 and want to talk to a professional;

2) Limited in their access to mental health counseling due to social distancing, quarantine, or not already having a current mental health counselor; and

3) Worried about or unable to afford a typical counseling session



Q: What is the cost of this service?

A: We know that cost can be prohibitive to accessing mental health care, especially now. That's why we are offering phone and telehealth services at a discounted rate during this time. We are offering phone sessions at $30 per 30 minute session. 

Q: Is this a crisis service?

Q: What is the difference between phone and telehealth counseling?

A: Phone counseling is just what it sounds like- connecting to your counselor via phone! Telehealth counseling uses a secure system so that you can both see and talk to your therapist through your phone or computer- similar to Skype or FaceTime. 


Q: Do you accept insurance for this service?

A: At this time, Holistic Healing Pdx does not accept insurance.

Q: How many sessions do I get?

A: We are offering this service on a case by case basis. You and your counselor can determine the number of sessions per week that work best for you.

Q: What if I already have another counselor?

A: We encourage you to reach out to your counselor and see if they can provide extra support for you.
